Grand Junction, a city in Colorado, has announced that it will now be using QR code technology to help to provide residents and visitors with information through the use of their smartphones and tablets. These barcodes are now being posted on everything from real estate ads, to beverages, and poster advertisements. Nebraska appeals to travelers through the ease of code

  Nebraska has taken a bold step in engaging travelers with their 2011 Nebraska Travel Guide. The 176 page, annually printed guide will feature interactive content through use of QR codes. Scanning the codes with any smart phone will take readers to informational videos, high-flying landscape tours and notices for upcoming events in the state.
